Natural cosmetics
Natural cosmetics are enjoying a renaissance. This means using materials to be found in nature to provide all that a healthy skin needs without causing any damage.
The FDCA (Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act, USA) defines skin cosmetics as products for "cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance" of the skin.
Their realisation is possible through several approaches, one of the main ones being bio-cosmetics and within these, natural cosmetics. The basic and active ingredients of these products take account of the human constitution, but unlike other dermatological products, they are used without medical prescription.
The anatomic structure of the skin is the same for everybody, but external conditions like the colour of the skin and its texture is different for each person. While one may be soft, silky, fresh, another can be pale, pallid, and maybe oily. In determining skin types many factors play a role.

In order to maintain a healthy skin, we have to know what type it is and how it is effected by the factors above, and what care is needed.
Beautiful, healthy skin requires regular care, it:
- must be cleansed of pollution and contamination
- must be protected from the extreme weather and environmental hazards
- must be protected from dehydration
- must be regenerated and nourished in people beyond a certain age
In order not to burden the skin with unecessary chemicals it is important to know what kind of cosmetics we need. Reducing the number of cosmetics, also lessens the danger of allegic reactions.
Sometimes the efficacy of a product will be less than expected. It depends also on water content of the skin how much of the cream is absorbed.
Individuals with sensitive skin and susceptible to allergies are advised to choose only from products containing only small quantities of easily identifiable ingredients.
The synthetic chemical content of cosmetics is much more damaging for the organism than we think. We are not fully aware of how important natural cosmetics are.
The essence of natural cosmetics is that petroleum derivatives, aluminium ions, and colouring agents are completely absent.

Our organism can be decreasingly adapted to the environmental impact, therefore more and more people meet with allergic reactions when using different cosmetics. Although Soliteint cosmetics were developed containing potential materials causing allergy to the least degree, we used colouring material only in the producs where it was necessary by all means, also fragrances and preservative to the least degree.
On the Hungarian market a serious buying demand appeared towards a product family which does not contain either fragrance or colouring material, therefore we put on the market a product family under name DERMAX, which does not contain either fragrance or colouring material. Its effect was dermatologically tested. The market reception of the DERMAX product family is prominently good.
